Great news! Tarchin and Mary will be in Auckland next weekend and Tarchin has agreed to teach on Sunday morning at the Lions Club rooms in Devonport. All are welcome!

Tarchin Hearn, a yogi of the natural world, is a lama and teacher of Ekayana/Vajrayana, (Buddhadharma from a Universal perspective). He has taught in many countries and helped establish a number of centres for retreat and healing. His work, rooted in Buddhist principles, links personal and communal healing with a deep ecological perspective in ways that have inspired a wide range of people from a variety of diverse backgrounds and traditions.

Venue: Lions Club Rooms, Allenby Avenue, Devonport (more information below)
Costs: $10 for room hire plus Dana to the Teacher
Instructions for the Lions Club: The club is in a little park on the edge of the Waitemata Golf Club. Park on Allenby Ave, Devonport near the driveway into the park marked by the large purple sign for the scouts. Walk into the driveway. The Lions Club room is the furthest building from the road out of the three buildings and is a two toned green wooden building.
Dana: In the Buddhist tradition the Teacher is not paid but is supported through the generosity of the community so they can continue to pass on the Teachings. A dana bowl will be set out at the classes. Money we place in the bowl not only expresses gratitude and support for the Teacher, but for The Teaching itself. When deciding how much to offer, think about the value of these classes to you and try to give accordingly. Realising that this is Tarchin’s sole source of income, please give as generously as you are able
