
Saturday Morning Mindfulness in Movement Classes

Term 4 – 17/10/15 to 05/12/15 (8 weeks);
These Saturday Morning classes will focus on Relaxation and Body Repair: where we gently build mindfulness through our bodies. Bringing Mindfulness into our bodies allows for greater relaxation, calm and tranquility.
These movements are done very slowly, lying down, to help with settling into calm. This relaxation releases tension in the body. The movements are safe, simple to do and do not create pain. These classes will be taught with good humour and have a spacious, meditative dynamic so people can explore what is arising within themselves.
The classes are suitable for a wide range of ages, and will be good for anyone who enjoys movement; people who have trouble settling their minds; people who enjoy meditation; people with body pain; and people who are feeling stressed. Great clarity of mind comes when we feel grounded and embodied. Flexibility or fitness are not needed. Beginners to advanced welcomed.
