Dzogchen Teachings
with Lama Mark Webber
April 12 & 13, 2017, Devonport, Auckland

Lama Mark will give two important transmissions and instruction for meditations to extend one’s life’s energies, health, remove obstacles and realise deathlessness (the unbroken continuum of mind’s pristine nature):
1) Empowerment for the long life and deathlessness practice, called:
Subduing the Lord of Death Through Splendour in the Drikung Yangzab Dzogchen lineage. Reading transmission of the meditation practice and explanations.
2) Reading transmission, meditative instructions and explanations for the Yangzab Dzogchen Sun Moon Amulet longevity and deathlessness practice. Also a group session of the practice of the Sun-Moon Amulet.
The Drikung Yangzab Dzogchen lineage is a complete cycle of teachings and practices given to Prince Mutik Tsepo by Padmasambhava in Tibet during the 8th century. It was copied down on a series of coloured scrolls by Padmasambhava, Yeshe Tsogyal and the King’s son Mutik Tsepo and hidden away. In the early 16th century the prince’s emanation, Gyalwang Rinchen Puntsok (1509-1557) the current throne holder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage revealed the entire cycle. This lineage is unbroken in transmission, instruction and practice to this day.
About Lama Mark:
Lama Mark (Lama Karma Tenpa Lekshe Yongdu) has been studying and teaching Buddha-dharma for forty years. For thirty years his main root teacher was the great Ven.
